July BJP started

I finally started working on my July piece. I have been thinking about ideas since before the June piece was finished, and have made several sketches and incorporated some new ideas as the month has passed. The longer it takes to get started, the more time I have to make it more complicated! So I must just start. Isn't this the same stuff I said last month?!?!?! :)
This month the base will be a photo transfer of my son at the Jersey shore on July 1st- this was the first time he had seen the ocean and he loved it! I used the "Printed Treasures" phototransfer sheets from Milliken. I printed two photos on one fabric sheet, since I'm not sure which one I want to use - one is a vertical shot and one is horizontal.
This is a very poor photo of the auditioning of beads and making of the shopping list! I have discovered that I never buy sand colour beads! I have a few browns and beiges but no sand coloured beads. So I will have to go shopping some time soon! I have lots of different blue beads for water and sky (if I include the sky - not sure yet). My next step is to sew hand painted fabric to all sides of whichever photo I select, in order to bring it up to my finishing size of 8 1/2" x 11". Then I will machine quilt it onto a batting. That is the plan of the moment!
